I had to make two trips to the night market because there was so much to eat! My number 1 favourite was the Hurricane Potato; well worth waiting in line for. I chose the salt and vinegar sauce on mine.
I also had some grass jelly and red bean dessert. It was okay at first but ended up tasting slightly medicinal.
I was seriously tempted to try one of these fried desserts but I chickened out.

Victoria , BC- August 2010
I played tour guide for the day and took my friend on a day trip to Victoria, BC!
Our first stop were the BC Legislative buildings. Our schedule was tight so we didn't have time to go on a tour of the buildings.
Across the street was the Empress Hotel. We wandered around there for a while.
The Inner Harbour was next.
Ooh! I spy the Malawian flag!
The Fisherman's Wharf.

Pork Chili
Now that I've moved into my new place, I finally have some time to cook! I attempted a chili recipe made with pork and lots of veggies.
