Eastern Canada part 2! Our first stop was in Ottawa.
I love Byward Market! Honey and syrup is so much cheaper here than in Vancouver so my suitcase was probably overweight before I even left Ottawa!
We managed to catch the last 10 minutes of the Changing of the Guard ceremony in front of Parliament Hill before we went on our guided tour of Parliament.
The view of the Ottawa River from the bell tower was amazing!
Next was a walk by the Rideau Canal on our way to the dock for our boat tour of the Ottawa River.
We got off the boat on the Gatineau, Quebec side and were treated to watching the aquabus enter the river. Pretty cool.
The Museum of Modern Civilization. We didn't make it inside this time.
